The Coconut Grove Farmers Market, run by Glaser Organic Farms since the early 1980s, is open every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, rain or shine.
Our open-air market is a destination for raw vegan and organic produce and food made and grown by Glaser Organic Farms. We carry a colorful array of organic fresh produce, organic sprouted grains, organic nut butters, organic teas, spices, herbs and handcrafted raw vegan specialties. We also offer unique seasonal fruits, including exotic varieties like durian and jaboticaba.
Our raw food deli is a customer favorite. It features vegan sushi, raw pizzas, fresh entrees, cold-pressed juices, nut milks, and our small-batch vegan ice creams. You can enjoy your meal at one of the picnic tables under the trees and take in the relaxed, open-air atmosphere.
The market is also home to local vendors offering handmade soaps, clothing, jewelry, Florida honey, and small-batch raw vegan food prepared by local artisans. Whether you’re shopping for the week or just stopping by for a treat, the Coconut Grove Farmers Market is a place to connect with good food and good people. Here Are The Details:
1. WEEKLY RENTAL FEE
The cost is: per Saturday, all day, rain or shine, $45 /CASH (Please bring the cash with you), or $50 /CREDIT CARD. The FM rental fee is collected at the Farmer’s Market, the same day you sell. The Owne Stan will come and visit each vendor for payment around 12-2pm. All vendors who want to attend, advertise, market, or sell at the Farmer’s Market must be authorized by Glaser Organic Farms Farmers Market management.
2. SPACE SIZE
10 x 10", (or less depending on the vendor’s needs). No space is guaranteed, however, the more often you come the more likely an available space could be yours.
3. SET UP, BREAKDOWN, TIMES (Vendors), SPACE SELECTION
New Vendors need to arrive between 9:00am – 9:30AM to set up, please ask for Stan. Established vendors with pre-determined spaces can arrive earlier. At approximately 10AM, any unoccupied spaces become available if Farmers Market Management has not been previously notified. Spaces will only be assigned by Stan Glaser, vendors cannot set up without approval from Stan. Vendors must vacate the selling area no later than 6:00PM and all clean-up must be completed.
4. HOURS
Saturdays only, rain or shine, 10:00AM– 6:30PM, (6:00 PM Daylight Savings). *Vendors are allowed to leave whenever they want.
5. WHAT TO BRING
Vendors must bring their own tent or canopy, chairs, tables, coolers, ice, and trash receptacles, hand washing equipment, gloves etc. Glaser Organic Farms supplies only a space. Any use of gas or propane must be approved by Stan Glaser (Farmer's Market Manager). Vendors must provide their own ice.
6. FOOD VENDORS - Chilling, heating or cooking food
All food vendors who heat or cook food are required to have a fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher must be legal, in working order, and within 6 feet of the cooking area.
Food held in coolers for retail sales needing refrigeration must hold the food at 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, however, each food is unique, and some need colder temperatures than others, but each food needing to be held chilled should be held chilled using ice or gel packs.
Thermometers are also highly recommended for all food vendors who have food needing to be chilled. The Coconut Grove Farmers Market can be inspected by the Florida Department of Agriculture (FDA) at any time. At which time, an inspector can ask a vendor what the temperature of their food is and having a thermometer means you are responsibly monitoring your temperatures.
Any vendor not complying with Food Safety Regulations may be asked by the FDA inspector, or Farmers Market Management, to quickly and immediately rectify any food safety related issue, or to leave. Any vendor authorized to return by Farmers Market Management, and is in good standing, can return if able to comply with State and Federal regulations. Food Safety Regulations are for the safety of the public, who must be able to trust your food.

7. WHAT IS ALLOWED
Most handcrafted products and foods are welcome, however, there is NO meat or seafood allowed. Dairy is allowed. All vegan, vegetarian, paleo, keto, lacto/ovo, ethnic, fresh, cooked, raw, made to order, and/or packaged foods are allowed.
8. KEEP VENDOR SPACE CLEAN
Vendors must keep the vicinity in and around their selling area clean at all times and must provide an approved trash receptacle to the public when selling ready-to-eat items. Vendors must remove all refuse and unsold items at the end of each Market Day. No trash shall be left on the Farmer's Market premises or with Glaser Organic Farms by a Vendor. Failure to comply with cleanliness may result in suspension of vendor privileges.
9. CODE OF CONDUCT
Vendors must be courteous to visitors, customers, other vendors, management, animals, and well everyone at all times. Try to resolve any issues which may arise with calm demeanor, polite language, and respect for each other. We sincerely thank you. No Vendor shall smoke tobacco (on the Farmer's Market premises), or drink alcohol while at the Farmer's Market.
10. DO I NEED INSURANCE?
Vendors are strongly recommended to carry insurance to cover the extent of their operations and liabilities.
11. COMPLYING WITH STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS
Vendors are required to comply with all federal state and/or local laws and regulations. All processed foods should comply with Food Safety requirements set forth by federal, state and local laws, regulations and rules.
12. MUSIC, and/or, BURNING OF INCENSE
Music can be played, and incense can be burned, only in a manner that does not interrupt, bother, or otherwise corrupt another vendor's operation. Music playing, (or incense burning) cannot be considered disruptive by ANY customers, visitors, other vendors, or Farmers Market Management. Farmers Market Management holds the right to ask a vendor to lower the volume, or extinguish incense, to such a level to be satisfactory to Farmers Market Management, or, to leave.
13. NOTIFICATION
If a Vendor cannot attend the market, we (Farmers Market Management ) ask to be notified at least 24 hours in advance at the following number (786) 210-8212(Raquel).
