Wheat berries are unprocessed wheat kernels in their most natural state. Use cooked wheatberries like you would rice or any other whole grain, in soups, salads, or side dishes, or as a base for stir fry. You can stuff bell peppers with them or simmer them in nut milk for a hearty breakfast porridge. They are full of micronutrients, protein, and fiber. Wheat berries can also be ground to flour, rolled into flakes, or sprouted. Hard winter wheat berries are used to grown wheatgrass.
