Corn Grits, 16 oz.
Grits are small broken grains of corn. They were first produced by Native Americans centuries ago.
To prepare, bring 3 cups water and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil. Add 1 cup corn grits and reduce heat. Cook slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for a couple minutes. This will make enough for four generous helpings.
