Agave nectar is generally produced from the Blue Agaves that
grow in the rich volcanic soils of Southern Mexico. Agaves are succulent plants similar to Aloe
Vera.

used a mixture of agave nectar and salt as a dressing for wounds and a balm for
skin infections.
One of the best properties of agave nectar is its low
glycemic profile. Its sweetness comes
from a complex form of fructose called inulin. Fructose occurs naturally in fruits and
