This naturally soothing and healing flower can be used topically or internally. Calendula is traditionally used in healing balms and lotions for cuts, scrapes, and rashes. Calendula flowers can be brewed in to a tea to sooth a sore throat, mouth, or irritated stomach, prevent muscle spasms, and reduce fevers. It is also used for treating muscle cramps, ulcers, and menstrual cramps.
Daily serving size: Pour 8-12 oz of boiling water (212 F) over 1 tsp. of tea. Steep 3-4 minutes.
